Operational Excellence
Scott Reardon, Founder and Director of
MR Rack, brings a strong hands-on background from his early years working on his grandfather’s farm, where he developed a love for machinery, tools, and hard work outdoors. After completing university, Scott joined the family business in 2013 and was quickly drawn to the racking industry.
Starting with just two men on small projects, he steadily grew both his expertise and the team, introducing innovative systems to improve efficiency and safety on every site.
Recognising the challenges of working with large steel structures, Scott pioneered new techniques and even developed a patented lifting system to protect his crew on heavy installations.
Today, MR Rack employs a highly skilled team of tradesmen, delivering safe, efficient, and industry-leading racking solutions across New Zealand.

Founder Scott Reardon drew on his years of experience in the New Zealand Territorial Army to shape our team culture around clear command structures, accountability, and mutual respect. Our workforce is made up of highly qualified tradesmen from around the world, many of whom have been with MR Rack for over five years. With a vertical team hierarchy—ranging from small, agile crews through to large-scale installation units—our structure ensures efficiency, safety, and precision on every job.
